Air-Fryer Korean-Style Chicken Wings

Prep Time: 15 mins
Cook Time: 40 mins
Serves: 8 persons

Ingredients:
• 1kg Woolworths chicken nibbles
• 1/2 cup cornflour
• 5ml extra virgin olive oil cooking spray
• 1 tbs sesame seeds, toasted
• 1/4 cup peanuts, roughly chopped
• 2 spring onions, thinly sliced

Sauce:
• 1 tbs sesame oil
• 2 garlic cloves, crushed
• 2cm piece ginger, finely grated
• 1/4 cup gochujang chilli paste
• 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
• 1/4 cup soy sauce
• 1/2 cup runny honey

Method:
1. Toss chicken in cornflour. Shake off excess. Place coated chicken pieces into air-fryer basket in a single layer. Spray with oil.
2. Air fry chicken at 200°C for 15 minutes or until crisp and lightly golden. Flip chicken and cook for a further 5 minutes or until lightly golden on second side. Remove cooked chicken and repeat process with remaining chicken.
3. Meanwhile, to prepare the sauce, heat sesame oil in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger, and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes or until fragrant. Add remaining sauce ingredients and cook, stirring, for 3 minutes or until sauce has thickened.
4. Return all chicken to air fryer. Cook for 5 minutes or until crisp and golden. Toss wings in sauce. Transfer to a serving platter and sprinkle with sesame seeds, peanuts and onion. Serve.
