DIY Table Canopy

Set the scene for alfresco dining with an elegant DIY decoration you can put up and take down in a flash.

Tools & materials:
• Safety equipment (mask)
• Drop sheet
• Tape measure and pencil
• Clamps
• Handsaw
• Lint-free cloth
• Pliers
• Two 2.4m lengths of 25mm pine dowel•
• 180-grit abrasive paper
• Two 310mm x 275mm terracotta pots
• 5mm cotton sash cord
• 7m length of lightweight white fabric
• Foliage (we used whekī fern)
• White cable ties
• Jute twine
