Nine Inch Nails: Tron: Ares (2025)
An unusual entry perhaps, the soundtrack to the new film in the Tron series which you needn’t have seen to appreciate this. Pitching it somewhere between Jean Michel Jarre’s Equinoxe, Walter Carlos’ synth-pop and David Bowie’s gloomy Low (with Spanish singer Judeline on the dreamy Who Wants To Live Forever?). A tapestry of sounds and styles but more interesting than the movie.
