Rolling Stones: Live at the Wiltern (2002)
In recent years the Stones have released terrific live albums from their back-catalogue (the On Air BBC appearances in the 1960s, the strident El Mocambo 1977). This triple album – recorded in 2002 at the classy Wiltern Theatre in LA – caught them in top form, scooping up the expected classics, digging into deep cuts and going right back to their beginnings for Everybody Needs Somebody to Love and That’s How Strong My Love Is. Confident enough to not include Satisfaction and Sympathy for the Devil.
Next: Rolling Stones, El Mocambo 1977, Hackney Diamonds (Live Edition) and Voodoo Lounge
