Pearl Jam: Dark Matter (2024)
The double punch of the opening songs Scared of Fear and React, Respond here announce that 33 years on from their debut Ten Pearl Jam are still a loud, disciplined and serious rock band out to prove themselves. The title track bounces off AC/DC, Running is a punk thrash and although guitars suck all the air out of available space, Pearl Jam still deliver great pop melodies (Wreckage, Got to Give). Still here, still standing, still delivering.
