Breeders: Last Splash (1993)
In retrospect the Breeders – with Kim and Kelley Deal, and Tanya Donelly – were an alt.rock supergroup and this second album caught them at their furious best, springing the seminal single Cannonball but also throwing curveballs everywhere. One of the great albums of the 90s, and the very expanded vinyl edition (seven LPs) is a monster. You definitely need the double vinyl reissue.
