Jazmine Mary: I Want to Rock and Roll (2025)
Jazmine Phillips might want to – and the cover suggests they are – but their downbeat alt.pop and folk.noir doesn’t rock at all. That’s a clever misdirection (another, on the cover of the previous Dog album they posed with a fish) but this album is beautifully mysterious and discreetly crafted. A real grower.
