Lorde: Virgin (2025)

Like Taylor Swift, Lorde’s favourite subject is herself and after the stoned Solar Power where she was uncomfortable with fame but woozing her way through it this tighter, more musically innovative album is a deep analysis of herself (“Can’t believe I’ve become someone else”), how she got there, fires some shots at those in her past and shamelessly enjoys sex. It’s quite a ride.
