Buzz Moller has never been in a hurry (this is only the third Voom album since 1998) but here again he celebrates love, domesticity, melodic slacker pop and has influences which run from close harmony folk-pop (Unless You Are Alive) to an unsettling spook circus (Nightmare Man). A delightful tonic of optimism in these uncertain times.
