Soft Bait: Life Advice (2025)

With the year’s best local single (New Leaf) and a close runner-up in Long Line, this distillation of Iggy Pop, post-punk energy, allusive lyrics and singer Joshua Hunter’s sometimes aloof delivery is a cracking second album from a band unique in the local landscape. Terrific cover painting by Hunter also.
