One of our smartest songwriters, she worked out her troubles and anxieties on the previous EP Break! which dealt with the stresses which arrived after her terrific debut Morningside (2017). She came back empowered, confident and bringing elements of electropop, Velvet Underground, European pop and breeziness onto an album which surprises and delights at every turn. A star was reborn.
