Amyl and the Sniffers: Comfort to Me (2021)
This second studio album by Australia’s punk-cum-pub rock band confirmed their status as one of the great, most exciting groups to come out of the country. It’s shouty, Amy Taylor doesn’t try to hide her Ocker accent and songs like Freaks to the Front (“Get out my way, don’t bloody touch me... I’m fucked up, I’m bloody ugly”) captured the anger, humour and sheer stroppiness of the her and the band.
