Minuit: The 88 (2003)

Classy local electropop debut which was huge on release and got a welcome double vinyl reissue this year. Singer Ruth Carr has a compelling delivery and cleverly relies on repetition to parallel the beats and electronica from Ryan Beehre and Paul Dodge. Dancepop and spiky electronica makes for an impressive album.
