Jon Toogood: Last of the Lonely Gods (2024)
Lockdown isolation away from family and considering love, life and mortality meant Toogood wrote a bunch of personal songs which wouldn’t fit with Shihad or The Adults. So here is his debut album under his own name on songs which sometimes err close the mainstream poprock, acoustic Neil Young and Crowded House or swell with emotion and strings. A different but still the same Toogood.
