Mike Hall: Nothing Stands Still (2024)
Former bassist with hardcore band Balance, Dimmer, Pluto and Nightchoir (with guest spots for Tami Neilson, Brunettes, Tim Finn and others) steps out with a fine collection of adult pop-rock originals which have touchstones in power-pop, Neil Finn and others who know how to craft a memorable song. Unhurried and more self-effacing than it needs to be.
