The Smile: Wall of Eyes (2024)

What seemed to begin as a side project for Radiohead’s Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood (with drummer Tom Skinner) became a serious, innovative and mature band with this diverse album which brought together electronica and orchestration with Latin shuffle and soulful singer-songwriter styles. Radiohead may still have a course to run, but The Smile is very much a separate and convincing entity of its own.
