Queens of the Stone Age: In Times New Roman (2023)
Eight albums in and QOTSA showed little sign of being weary despite members all having parallel careers in other bands and this being recorded in a number of different studios. But they again delivered with their customary intensity and widescreen sonics and if it came up short in instant gratification (standout singles) it confirmed them as a force still to be reckoned with. And more than a little Bowie in the mix.
