Tadpole: The Medusa (2002)

One of the great bands of their era (they broke up in 2006), Tadpole manage to sit neatly between muscular rock (the massive Just Not Rock’n’Roll here) and hard pop with their ace being the strong, melodic vocals of frontwoman Renee Brennan. Line-up changes hindered their trajectory but in their time there was tsunami of guitar-driven rock bands and Tadpole were riding the wave.
