Can: Live in Paris 1973 (1973)

Excellent double live – only released this year – which finds the classic Can line-up improvising and exploring material from their just-released Ege Bamyasi which had built on their previous Tago Mago. This was Can at their peak as experimental, progressive and finding a space between jazz, rock and psychedelic kosmische (cosmic music). One of the most innovative bands of their era and still remarkable to listen to now, more than half a century on.
